Rehearsal Dinner Rehearsal Dinner on the North Fork of Long Island. The wedding was in the winter, just after New Year’s Eve. We needed to make the rehearsal dinner sparkle just like the fresh new snow. This event was held at Pellegrini Vineyard, located on the East end of Long Island, New York. The cocktail hour took place in the Vineyard’s tasting room, with the sit down dinner for 40 following in the Barrel room. The dining tables were dressed in white with lots of candles surrounding pine boughs with white and red roses. Boy, did it sparkle!
The Menu: Beginnings: - Baked Brie with crystallized grapes (the wine theme)
- Jumbo Shrimp with cocktail sauce
- Baked Artichoke Heart Dip
Starter: - Purred Carrot and dill soup
- Warm crusty bread and butter
Main Event: - Pork tenderloin marinated in Ann Marie’s Secret Sauce
- Wild rice with mushrooms and pine nuts
- Sautéed baby carrots, snow peas and red bell pepper
Finale: - Pumpkin cheesecake
- Various truffles and chocolates
- Coffee and tea
