Birthday Party 50th Birthday Party in Napa. The setting for this party was on an Estate overlooking the Napa Valley vineyards. The tables were decorated with butter yellow cloths and lime green napkins, and simple bouquets of roses. With Napa Valley as a backdrop we just wanted to highlight the beauty of the surroundings. The food was served buffet style to allow the 75 guests to eat when they desired and throughout the evening.
The Menu: Beginnings: - Raw oysters on the half shell
- Jumbo shrimp with cocktail sauce
- Pesto, sun-dried tomato and cream cheese terrine
- Sausage stuffed tartlets
- Baby tomatoes with mozzarella and fresh basil
- Sausage from the grill served with various mustards
Main Buffet: - Pork Tenderloin marinated in Ann Marie’s Secret Sauce
- Cold roasted beet, walnut and Gorgonzola salad
- Tex-Mex Caesar salad with fresh roasted corn and red bell peppers
- Moroccan Cous Cous with dried fruit and nuts
- Pear, candied pecans and red onion on Butter Crunch lettuce
- Lots of crusty bread and Parmesan covered bread sticks
Finale: - Tiramisu cake dressed in pansies
- Chocolate covered Strawberries
- Coffee and Tea
